Specifications of Clark Forklifts

Kinds
Clark makes a range of forklift trucks such as pneumatic trucks, cushion trucks and narrow aisle. The different kinds differ in terms of the way they operate. For instance, heavy-duty forklifts utilized for construction and agriculture run on an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle kinds designed to be used in warehouses and various other confined spaces run on rechargeable battery.

Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks differs according to the kind. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the model. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion models are recommended. They can carry from 1400-8000 kilograms.

Engine
AC batteries, either 36 volt or 48 volt, are utilized to operate Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustion or IC engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC models have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed types.

Frame/Cab
The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and consists of overhead protective cover for the operator, the seat and controls. The frame includes the engine, fuel tank, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
